Not for the first time, but they were too few for a bracelet.
Of course, alternating with other large beads would solve it, I'd tried already. Only, it was too obvious, very boring. But adding some smaller vintage beads with rose quarts beads between made the difference.
While attaching the shell I had flashes of a familiar image. An image similar to the characteristic of the bracelet; delicate, feminine, mother of pearly sea-shell, pastel-pale. I recognised the flash as the "Birth of Venus" - of course it was all very Botticelli-esque.
