Size - not splendor - may be crucial to whether a piece of jewellery becomes a favourite or ends up in a drawer.
Recently I was up in Norway meeting great girls who had lots of useful and positive feedback.
Size came up again and again. Or rather, length - both for bracelets and necklaces.
Thanks girls, important observations!
Far too many adornments stay unused in drawers - I don’t want that fate for mine.
In fact, just a tiny bit too tight or too long is enough to make any bracelet or necklace uncomfortable or unflattering.
And eventually unused!
I also experienced how hard it can be to take an accurate measure. Referring to established standard lengths helps when taking notes, but testing and precise measurements are still best, I find.
Traditionally the different lengths have names like choker, princess, matinee. Find more details in a newsletter about names, personality enhancing pieces - PEP, and more. Read more in newsletter nº 7.
